About the Position

We are seeking a dependable CDL B Delivery Driver for a local delivery role in Holtsville, New York. This position involves heavy touch freight and daily deliveries to restaurants, hospitals, schools, and other locations throughout the region.

Pay & Schedule

• Pay: $265 per day
• Average weekly pay: $1,325
• Schedule: 5-day work week with mandatory Saturdays and one weekday off; Monday through Friday schedules may be available based on volume
• Start time: Between 4:00 a.m. and 4:30 a.m.
• Average workday: 8 to 10 hours
• Hours per week: 40
• Anticipated start date: June 18, 2026

Job Details

• Equipment: Automatic refrigerated straight truck
• Delivery area: Primarily New York, including the boroughs, with potential overflow into New Jersey and Connecticut
• Stops: Approximately 10 to 14 stops per day
• Freight handling: Unload using a hand cart or pallet jack, including deliveries up and down stairs and into basements

Key Responsibilities

• Safely operate an automatic refrigerated straight truck
• Deliver freight to restaurants, hospitals, schools, and other customer locations
• Unload freight using hand carts and pallet jacks
• Complete approximately 10 to 14 deliveries per day
• Follow all applicable safety regulations and maintain a professional customer service approach

Minimum Requirements

• Valid CDL B
• 2+ years of recent, relevant, and verifiable driving experience
• At least 21 years of age
• Clean Motor Vehicle Record with no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in the last 3 years
• Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements
• Ability to perform heavy touch freight deliveries, including lifting and maneuvering freight with hand carts and pallet jacks
