About the Position

Our client is seeking experienced CDL A Truck Drivers for a local, weekday position in Patterson, California. This light-touch role offers consistent work, an estimated weekly pay of $1,500, and the opportunity to transition from temporary to permanent employment after six months.

Pay & Schedule

• $31.58 per hour
• Estimated weekly pay of $1,500
• Approximately 40 hours per week

Job Details

• Route type: Local routes in the Patterson area
• Freight: Light-touch freight
• Equipment: Class A tractor-trailer
• Handling: Safely lift or move up to 50 pounds frequently and up to 100 pounds occasionally
• Anticipated start date: August 10, 2026

Key Responsibilities

• Operate Class A tractor-trailer equipment on assigned local routes.
• Complete deliveries safely and on schedule.
• Perform required pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
• Handle light-touch freight as required.
• Maintain delivery documentation.
• Communicate professionally with dispatch, management, and customer locations.
• Safely enter and exit the tractor and rear cargo area.

Minimum Requirements

• Valid CDL A.
• 1+ year of recent, relevant, and verifiable driving experience.
• Non-excepted interstate DOT medical card.
• Ability to safely lift or move up to 50 pounds frequently and up to 100 pounds occasionally.
• Clean Motor Vehicle Record with no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in the last 3 years.
• Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements.
• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Ability to report to the Patterson, California location and work the required weekday schedule.
