About the Position

Our client is seeking experienced CDL A Regional Route Drivers to deliver automotive parts and supplies to dealerships. Drivers will operate sleeper tractors with 53-foot trailers, complete multi-stop deliveries, and unload freight using manual pallet jacks, hand trucks, and rolling cages.

Pay & Schedule

• Pay Rate: $35 per hour
• Overtime: Paid after 40 hours
• Average Annual Pay: Approximately $103,000
• Schedule: Monday through Friday or Sunday through Thursday, depending on the route
• Start Times: Between 12:00 a.m. and 6:00 a.m.
• Hours: 40 hours per week
• Layovers: Approximately two to three per week

• Stops: Approximately five to 21 stops per route
• Drop and Hooks: Up to five per route
• Transfers: Up to 10 per week
• Equipment: Sleeper tractor with a 53-foot trailer and liftgate

• Delivery Locations: Automotive dealerships
• Freight Handling: Driver unloads freight using pallet jacks, hand trucks, and rolling cages
• Scanning: Drivers use a handheld scanner to scan products during deliveries

Key Responsibilities

• Safely operate a sleeper tractor-trailer on regional routes
• Complete multi-stop deliveries to automotive dealerships
• Deliver automotive parts and supplies
• Unload freight using manual pallet jacks, hand trucks, and rolling cages
• Scan products using a handheld scanner during deliveries
• Complete drop-and-hook operations as required
• Perform transfers as needed
• Complete approximately two to three layovers per week
• Maintain compliance with all DOT and FMCSA safety requirements

Minimum Requirements

• Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License
• 1+ year of recent, relevant, and verifiable driving experience
• Clean Motor Vehicle Record with no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in the last three years
• Valid DOT Medical Card
• Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements
• Ability to safely handle and unload palletized automotive parts
• Regional driving experience preferred
