TransForce is seeking a CDL A driver for a local mail delivery position supporting routes in Akron, Ohio. This role involves hauling rolling carts of mail with light-touch freight handling and driver unload responsibilities.

• Pay rates: $32.56 per hour
  • $28.56 per hour, and $28.01 per hour
  • Health and welfare benefit of $5.36 per hour
• Sunday and Saturday schedule
  • Sunday start time: 5:00 a.m., with four-hour days
  • Saturday start time: 2:00 p.m., with five-hour days

• Route type: Local mail routes
• Freight: Mail transported in rolling carts
• Equipment: CDL A tractor-trailer equipment
• Handling: Light touch freight and driver unload

• Safely operate a CDL A commercial vehicle on local mail routes.
• Transport rolling carts of mail between post offices.
• Complete driver unload duties at designated locations.
• Follow all applicable transportation and safety regulations.
• Provide professional and reliable service at each stop.

• CDL Class A license.
• 1+ year of recent, relevant, and verifiable driving experience.
• Clean Motor Vehicle Record with no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in the last 3 years.
• Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements.
