About the Position

Our client is seeking a CDL A Delivery Driver/Warehouse Associate for a local, home-daily position in Sulphur, Louisiana. This role combines local deliveries within approximately one hour of the branch with warehouse responsibilities, offering a consistent Monday-Friday schedule and hands-on work in both transportation and warehouse operations.

Pay & Schedule

• Pay: $28 per hour
• Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM
• Hours: 40 hours per week
• Home time: Home daily
• Employment type: Short-term flex

Job Details

• Route type: Local deliveries, typically within approximately one hour of Sulphur
• Freight: Pipe, valves, fittings, customer returns, and local purchase orders
• Equipment: F-550 truck with a 40-foot gooseneck trailer, automatic company vehicles, sit-down forklifts, and cherry pickers
• Handling: Load, secure, transport, unload, pull, stock, and put away warehouse materials
• Warehouse work may require operating equipment at heights of up to 20 feet

Key Responsibilities

• Operate an F-550 truck with a 40-foot gooseneck trailer and other automatic company vehicles as needed.
• Deliver pipe, valves, and fittings to local customer locations.
• Load, secure, transport, and unload materials in accordance with DOT regulations and weight restrictions.
• Pick up customer returns and local purchase orders.
• Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
• Maintain delivery documentation, obtain customer signatures, and take required delivery photos.
• Pull customer orders, stock inventory, put away incoming materials, and assist with general warehouse operations.
• Operate sit-down forklifts and cherry pickers safely.
• Safely lift, push, pull, and carry warehouse materials.

Minimum Requirements

• Valid CDL A.
• 1+ year of recent, relevant, and verifiable driving experience.
• At least 6 months of recent forklift experience.
• Experience operating a sit-down forklift and cherry picker.
• Required state-issued non-excepted interstate self-certification designation with proof.
• Ability to use electronic delivery devices and mobile technology.
• Ability to safely work at heights up to 20 feet.
• Ability to safely lift, push, pull, and carry warehouse materials.
• Clean Motor Vehicle Record with no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in the last 3 years.
• Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements.
• Must be at least 21 years old.
