Non-Invasive Cardiologist - Locums to Perm Richmond, VirginiaAvailability & Schedule
  • Start: ASAP (ongoing until permanent provider is hired)
  • Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8-hour day shifts
  • Call:
    • Call Ratio: 1:6
    • Night & weekend call (rotating)

Licensure

  • Virginia License: Required

Board Status

  • Board Certified: Required

Certifications

  • Required:
    • ACLS
    • VAD Certification (Ventricular Assist Device)

Prescriptive Authority

  • DEA: Required

Training / Experience

  • Advanced Heart Failure (AHF) Fellowship: Required
  • LVAD Experience: Required
  • Must be local provider
Practice Overview
  • Setting: Inpatient, outpatient clinic, and call
  • Reason for Coverage: Support during permanent recruitment
  • Group Size: 1 cardiologist currently
  • Supervision: Yes - 4 APCs
  • EMR: Epic
Clinical Details
  • Patient Population: Adult / Geriatric
  • Clinic Volume: 10 patients per day
  • Inpatient Volume: 12-15 admissions per day

Procedures

  • Electrocardiograms (EKGs)
  • No invasive procedures required
Practice Setting
  • Hospital-based cardiology / advanced heart failure program
