We are currently seeking a board certified/board eligible Non-Invasive Cardiologist to join our team in Ephrata, PA.
What you can expect at your practice:
- Busy, full-service cardiology practice with three office locations (Ephrata, Lancaster, and New Holland). This opportunity offers a great balance of clinical challenge and personal time.
- Average of one week of hospital coverage per month. Hospital rotation includes TEEs, cardioversions, reading echos, and stress tests.
- Average of 6 days of on call coverage per month. CRNP support as first call.
- Outpatient clinics have dedicated support staff and tenured team.
- Predictable schedule: 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM, Monday - Friday
- 5 hours of administrative time per week

Duties and ResponsibilitiesEssential Functions:
- Examination and evaluation to identify, prevent, diagnose and treatment of diseases related to cardiovascular disease as well as other contributing disease states as presented.
- Perform technical patient care procedures ranging from echocardiography, diagnostic cardiac catheterization, minor surgical interventions, and or other related intervention to diagnosis and treat patients? condition.
- Read non-invasive cardiac and vascular imaging as allowed by organizations bylaws and individual physicians credentials. Testing may include echocardiography, vascular ultrasound, stress testing, and nuclear stress testing.
- Prescribe and administer medications in the treatment of patient?s cardiovascular disease and other medical disorders.
- Monitor the effectiveness of treatments to make necessary changes or modifications to ensure high quality patient outcomes.
- Maintain current cardiovascular medical knowledge.
- Participates in Medical Staff, Cardiology Practice, and Service Line activities as required and / or requested.
- Observe the Bylaws, Rules and Regulations of the Hospital, Medical Staff, Medical Group and Service Line.
- Demonstrates a commitment to patient, visitor and staff by: complying with all applicable safety regulations; learning the impact of medical errors and methodology that will lead to reduction of errors; reporting actual and potential errors, as well as hazardous conditions; identifying opportunities to standardize processes and "error proof" systems that will lead to increased safety; and participating in safety education programs and root cause analyses as required.
- Provides outstanding service to all customers; fosters teamwork; and practices fiscal responsibility through improvement and innovation.
- Document patient records and progress including symptoms, medications, and treatments.
- Participates in research and other scholarly activities.
- Performs other related duties as identified.

Qualifications
Minimum Education:
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) Required or
- Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) Required
Licenses:
- Licensed Medical Physician and Surgeon Upon Hire Required or
- Licensed Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine Upon Hire Required
Courses and Training:
- Board Certified in Cardiology, or in-process of sitting for exam BC/BE licensable in the state of PA. Upon Hire Required and
- Completed Fellowship in Cardiovascular Care. Upon Hire Required
