Locum General Cardiologist Putnam, Connecticut

Day Kimball Health, a 100-bed community hospital in Putnam, Connecticut, is urgently seeking a General Cardiologist for locum tenens coverage.

Assignment Details

  • Coverage dates: September 7 11 and September , 2026 - Ongoing
  • Schedule: Monday Friday, approximately 8:00 AM 5:00 PM
  • Setting: Mix of inpatient and outpatient general cardiology
  • No weekends
  • No call
  • Additional ongoing coverage may be available

Responsibilities

  • Provide outpatient general cardiology services
  • Complete inpatient rounding and cardiology consultations
  • Evaluate and manage a broad range of cardiovascular conditions
  • Interpret routine non-invasive cardiac studies as needed
  • Collaborate with hospitalists, APPs, nursing staff, and other specialists

Requirements

  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Cardiovascular Disease
  • Active Connecticut medical license or ability to obtain one
  • Active DEA
  • Comfortable working in both inpatient and outpatient settings
