Cardiology - Noninvasive Physician

Locums - Gettysburg, Pennsylvania, Cardiology Opening (IMLC Accepted)

Start Date:September 1, 2026

Assignment Duration:13 weeks

Schedule Details:1-2 weeks per month

Providers must be flexible with available coverage weeks.

Coverage consists of:

Hospital Call Week

• Monday 7:00 AM - Monday 7:00 AM
• Hospital consults
• Hospital call coverage
• TEE procedures
• Echocardiograms
• Nuclear testing

Clinic Week

• Monday-Friday
• 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Coverage Needed:Seeking either:

• Two physicians to split coverage, or
• One physician able to provide full-time coverage

Coverage includes:

• Two weeks of call coverage per month
• Two weeks of clinic coverage per month

Practice Settings:

• Academic/Training
• Ambulatory Surgery Center
• Clinic/Private Practice (owned practice)
• Corporate/Non-Clinical

Patient Volume:

• Hospital: Average 20 patients per day
• Clinic: Average 18 patients per day

Support Staff:

• Medical Assistants

Facility Details:74-bed hospital

Responsibilities:

• Hospital consults
• Inpatient call coverage
• Transesophageal Echocardiograms (TEE)
• Echocardiogram interpretation
• Nuclear testing
• Outpatient cardiology clinic coverage

EMR:EPIC

Requirements:

• Board Eligible in Cardiology - Required
• Active Pennsylvania License - Required
• Active Pennsylvania License or IMLC Letter of Qualification (LOQ) in hand at presentation - Required
• DEA - Required

Credentialing Timeframe:Approximately 120 days

Temporary privileges available with a clean file.
