Cardiology - Interventional Physician

Schedule: 1 week per month (Monday-Monday preferred), ongoing coverage

Setting: Inpatient Interventional Cardiology with STEMI call coverage

Call: Beeper call with 20-minute response time

Patient Volume: Inpatient census of approximately 20-40 patients with support from an NP; average STEMI volume of 0-3 cases per week

EMR: Athena / Meditech

Required Skills: Interventional Cardiology including STEMI management, inpatient rounding, emergent catheterization coverage, and acute cardiovascular care

Board Status: Board Certified or Board Eligible accepted

Licensure: New Mexico license preferred; licensing requirements flexible during presentation process

Certifications Required: ACLS and BLS

Credentialing: Approximately 60-90 days

Support: Established cardiovascular program with 5 interventional cardiologists, NPs, electrophysiology, general cardiology, and cardiothoracic surgery support
