Job Description
At the discretion of the overseeing clinical provider in combination with the Porter Cardiology Practice Manager, the Cardiac Sonographer is responsible for the performance of echocardiograms.

Qualifications
Current certification as a Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) from the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS), Registered Cardiac Sonographer from the Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) or Canadian Registered Cardiac Sonographer (CRCS) by the Canadian Association of Registered Diagnostic Ultrasound Professionals (CARDUP) is required within one year of hire.

Three years of Echocardiography experience or equivalent education and training preferred.
