Journeyman Electrician (CA Carded)
Location: California (Imperial Valley / El Centro area projects)
Pay: Starting at $38/hour+
Schedule: Full-time, 40 hours per week

Job Summary

Seeking experienced California Carded Journeyman Electricians to perform commercial and industrial electrical installations. Candidates will work independently and with crews to install, maintain, and troubleshoot electrical systems while ensuring all work complies with applicable electrical codes and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Install conduit, wiring, panels, switchgear, and electrical equipment.
• Read and interpret blueprints, electrical drawings, and schematics.
• Prepare sketches and diagrams showing electrical system layouts.
• Troubleshoot electrical issues and perform repairs.
• Ensure compliance with NEC and local electrical codes.
• Maintain a safe work environment and follow all project safety requirements.

Minimum Requirements

• Valid California Journeyman Electrician Certification (Carded Journeyman).
• At least 1 year of journeyman-level electrical experience preferred.
• Strong understanding of commercial and industrial electrical systems.
• Ability to read blueprints and wiring diagrams.
• Reliable transportation and ability to report to project sites.
