Position Overview

The Assembler is responsible for ensuring the efficient movement and handling of materials throughout the facility. This role supports shipping, receiving, inventory control, and material distribution while ensuring compliance with company procedures and safety standards.


Required Experience

  • Minimum 2+ years of relevant experience in material handling, warehouse, or inventory management
  • Experience working in stockroom or inventory environments
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks


Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience using Microsoft Office 365
  • Prior material handling or warehouse experience
  • Strong organizational skills


Key Responsibilities

  • Receive, stock, and distribute materials, parts, and supplies
  • Load and unload trucks as required
  • Verify incoming shipments against purchase orders or invoices
  • Inspect received goods and report or reject damaged or incorrect items
  • Maintain records of received and distributed materials
  • Manage inventory and distribute materials to manufacturing lines
  • Prepare shipping documentation and maintain shipment records
  • Post weights and calculate shipping charges
  • Prepare materials for final shipment
  • Follow all company safety policies and procedures
  • Maintain regular attendance and punctuality
  • Support additional duties as assigned


Qualifications

Education

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required

Certifications (Preferred)

  • Vocational training, apprenticeship, or relevant work experience in material handling or logistics

Experience

  • Minimum 2+ years of related experience


Required Skills

  • Knowledge of cycle counting and inventory control
  • Ability to operate powered industrial trucks and material handling equipment
  • Ability to use small hand tools
  • Basic computer and data entry skills
  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions with minimal supervision
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Basic math and documentation skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and database tools
