Pay: $78(1099).

Location: Long Beach Veterans Affairs Healthcare System (LBVAHCS) 5901 E. 7th Street Long Beach, CA 90822

Schedule:

Ultrasound: Weekday & Weekend Coverage (including holidays)

  • Day: 8:00am 4:30pm
  • Evening: 3:30pm 00:00am

Qualifications:

  • Shall provide MIT Ultrasound Technicians that independently operate ultrasound equipment to perform a variety of complex diagnostic ultrasound exams.
  • Shall receive patients, explain method of procedure(s), position patients, select and set technical factors, set up and adjust accessory equipment, and document necessary images.
  • Shall set up Ultrasound exam rooms assuring that supplies and other required equipment are present and available for exams.
  • Will also perform related clerical duties such as sending images to the Picture Archiving and Communication System, archiving images, post processing images, and case editing of computer request and reports.
  • Shall also maintain records and enter patient information using the Radiology Vista Package, and the Computerized Patient Record System.
