About the Role
Maine is seeking an experienced Emergency Department Registered Nurse for a 13-week travel nursing contract. This is a night shift position offering 36 guaranteed hours per week across three 12-hour shifts with no on-call requirement, giving you plenty of time to enjoy the stunning Maine coastline just minutes from the hospital.
You will be joining a collaborative ED team and are expected to function in a charge nurse capacity as well as serve as a preceptor when needed.
Shift Details
- Schedule: 3 12-hour shifts per week
- Primary hours: 7:00 PM 7:30 AM
- Variable hours (census-dependent): 1:00 PM 1:30 AM
- No on-call requirement
- Holiday coverage: not required
Compensation
- Pay Range $50 to $52
- Guaranteed hours: 36 per week
- W-2 only; 1099 not accepted
- No bonuses, mileage reimbursement, or additional expenses
Requirements
- Active RN license in the State of Maine (required at time of submission)
- BLS and ACLS certification (current)
- Minimum 3 years of Emergency Department experience
- Charge nurse experience (required)
- Preceptor experience (required)
- PALS certification (preferred)
