Permanent, Full Time, ED RN, needed in the Nome AK area!
Main Functions:
- Utilize nursing process to care for health care customers of all ages
- Carry out patient assessments, diagnosis, planning, and implementation of interventions, evaluate the patients response to the interventions including emotional, social and safety needs
- Assist physicians during examinations and procedures
- Perform various patient tests and administer medications as prescribed by physician
- Triage, prioritize, and assist in the stabilization, resuscitation, crisis intervention and /or emergency preparedness of the customer
- Perform other duties as assigned
Minimum Requirements:
- Education Associate s Degree Nursing
- Experience 2 years RN experience (ED or Critical Care experience required)
- Credentials Alaska RN License, Basic Life Support
- ACLS, PALS and NRP within one year of hire
