A community services organization in New York City is looking to add a licensedOccupational Therapist (OT) to join their growing team at one of their group homes on Staten Island.

About the Opportunity:

  • Setting: Article 16 Clinic
  • Schedule: Monday to Friday
  • Hours: 9am to 5pm or 8am to 4pm
  • Patient Population: Adults (Ages 18+)
  • EMR:PrecisionCare

Responsibilities:

TheOccupational Therapist (OT) will:

  • Plan and implementprescribed occupational therapy treatment programs for persons receiving services
  • Assist patients with maintaining and/or restoringfunction secondary to acute or chronic disability
  • Conductannual screens, assessments, & daily documentation
  • Perform other duties, as needed

Qualifications:

  • Graduation from an accredited Occupational Therapy school
  • NYS Occupational Therapist (OT) license
Desired Skills:
  • Experience with Wheelchair assessment
  • Experience working with people with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities
