2nd Shift Quality Control Specialist

Pay: $18-$21/hr depending on experience

Location: Allen, TX
Hours: Monday - Friday from 3pm - 12am

We are seeking a 2nd shift Quality Control Specialist to join our Client's team in Allen, TX. This role is crucial in ensuring the quality and integrity of all raw materials and final products. The position involves sampling, documentation, and maintaining compliance with FDA guidelines and cGMP standards. This individual will report directly to the Quality Control Manager and will play an integral part in the production process.

Responsibilities:

• Monitor daily production activities to ensure adherence to FDA regulations, cGMP protocols, SOPs, and organizational standards.


• Perform sampling and approval of raw materials and packaging components.


• Accurately document and track raw material testing results and product retention records.


• Authorize the release of finished goods for manufacturing.


• Assist in onboarding, training, and mentoring team members.


• Maintain and manage retention areas for final product samples.


• Support comprehensive quality control for materials, packaging, and end products.


• Take on additional responsibilities as assigned.

• Minimum of 1+ years of quality control experience within a manufacturing environment.


• Bilingual is a plus but not required.


• Strong documentation and data review skills.


• Ability to train and mentor team members effectively.


• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and under pressure.


• Task-oriented with excellent attention to detail.


• Able to perform repetitive tasks, stand for extended periods, and lift up to 30 pounds.


• Open to direction and adaptable to evolving priorities.
