Team Leader Core Laboratory Cytogenetics

Location: Charlotte, NC

Employment Type: Full-time, Permanent

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance quality, productivity, and efficiency
  • Oversee testing quality, troubleshoot issues, and implement corrective actions
  • Train, coach, and support team members while ensuring adherence to standard work
  • Monitor workflow, turnaround times, and team productivity
  • Support lab operations, equipment troubleshooting, and staffing needs
Requirements:
  • ASCP certification (or equivalent)
  • 2 5+ years of relevant laboratory experience
  • Prior leadership or team lead experience
  • Strong knowledge of lab workflows, quality systems, and instrumentation
  • Experience with FISH and chromosome analysis preferred
