We are currently seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Cytotechnologist to join our team in New York Mills, NY. This role does not sponsor candidates and offers a competitive salary range of $28.68 to $49.74 per hour.
Responsibilities:- Examine and analyze cell samples for abnormalities or cancerous cells
- Prepare and stain slides for microscopical examination
- Maintain accurate records of all tests performed
- Communicate results effectively with healthcare providers
- Follow all safety protocols and quality assurance guidelines
- Bachelor's degree in Cytotechnology or related field
- Certification as a Cytotechnologist (CT) by ASCP or equivalent and NY state license
- 2+ years of experience in a clinical laboratory setting
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
