Histotech in Pottstown, IL

We are seeking a skilled Histotech to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in preparing and processing tissue samples for microscopic examination.

• Perform routine and complex histologic procedures on a variety of tissue samples
• Embed tissue specimens in paraffin or other supporting materials
• Operate and maintain histology equipment and instruments
• Prepare stains and dyes to enhance visibility under the microscope
• Assist pathologists and other medical professionals in diagnosing diseases

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
• Certification as a Histotechnician (HT) or Histotechnologist (HTL)
• Experience working in a histology laboratory
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment
