MRI Tech Job Description Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled MRI Tech to join our medical imaging team. The MRI Tech will be responsible for conducting MRI scans on patients, ensuring high-quality images are produced for medical diagnosis.
Key Responsibilities- Performing MRI scans on patients in a safe and efficient manner
- Operating and maintaining MRI equipment
- Ensuring patient comfort and safety during the imaging process
- Monitoring patients for any adverse reactions during the scan
- Collaborating with radiologists and other healthcare professionals
- Maintaining accurate patient records and imaging results
- Following all safety protocols and guidelines for MRI procedures
- Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology or related field
- Certification in MRI technology
- Prior experience working as an MRI Tech (preferred)
- Strong understanding of MRI equipment and procedures
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment
